It’s good that Wednesday was renewed for a second season because Catherine Zeta-Jones is clearly still living her best Morticia Addams life.
On January 7 the 53-year-old actor posted a stunning photo of herself wearing a silky black jumpsuit with a plunging V-neckline and sheer lace cutouts. “I just woke up like this and realized it’s the weekend😂,” CZJ captioned the sultry snap. “I am going back to bed😴 Happy Saturday😘.” Do you think she woke up in those large gold hoops and full makeup look as well?
“Looking sublime… such a Morticia-inspired look,” one follower commented, while another wrote, BRB TRYING TO BREATH 😳.”

On January 6, Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated Wednesday’s renewal by sharing the announcement on her Instagram grid. “Over the past few weeks, I have been hunted, haunted, and mimicked millions of times across the internet,” Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) says in the video, referencing her viral dance from episode 4. “It’s been pure torture….Thank you.”
CZJ captioned the video, “So there you have it!!!! The best news! I mean the bestest best news. WEDNESDAY!!!!!! P.S. Wednesday nearly smiled…it’s that good.”

Morticia Addams is the perfect role for Zeta-Jones, considering she and her husband, Michael Douglas, raised a real-life Wednesday of their own. In a recent throwback Instagram post, CZJ shared a video of her daughter Carys making some of the iconic goth teen’s signature looks of dismay and exasperation during a school assembly.
“Carys, my real daughter as a little girl. 🤣 I have had a Wednesday Addams in my life for 19 years and 9 months.🤣 Morticia and I love you my little rain cloud🖤,” the actor captioned the video, which Carys reposted to her Stories with the message “the sass.”

We all need a “little rain cloud” in our lives.
