Alistair McGeorge, the former Chair of New Look, is set to become a non-executive at Boohoo’s PrettyLittleThing.
With over 30 years of experience in the retail industry, McGeorge has held CEO and Chairman positions at various retail brands in the UK and internationally, including Littlewoods, Matalan, and New Look.
Notably, he was a Director of New Look Retailers Limited during its turnaround process in March 2018.
McGeorge will be succeeding Brian Small at Boohoo.
Currently, he holds board positions at East Imperial and The Original Factory Shop, and is the Chair of The Retail Trust.
Mahmud Kamani, Boohoo Group Executive Chairman, expressed excitement about working with McGeorge and believes that his extensive board-level experience will help Boohoo become a global fashion leader.
