Cambridge Satchel Co in Matilda collab with Roald Dahl Company
Given its heritage schoolbag roots, it’s fitting that British brand The Cambridge Satchel Co has launched a range of bags, notebooks and accessories coinciding with the release of the movie Roald Dahl’s Matilda: The Musical.
Collaborating with The Roald Dahl Story Company, the associated satchel range comes embossed with designs by illustrator Quentin Blake and quotes from Roald Dahl’s ‘Matilda’.
From satchel-inspired backpacks to leather notebooks, each piece includes special Matilda references, alongside both The Cambridge Satchel Co and the Matilda logos. Prices range from £15 to £245.
In six core limited-edition colours, the products will be available in all The Cambridge Satchel stores, including the brand’s new three-month Covent Garden pop-up.
Alongside the collaboration, several of The Cambridge Satchel Co 14-inch Batchel Backpacks can be seen in the movie, now showing in UK and Ireland cinemas and will be available on Netflix from 25 December.
The ongoing partnership will be promoted via the brand’s social channels, as well as its online Journal, which features a review of the film and further information about the products on offer.
