Stylewise, there’s no doubt that Sofia Richie is the queen of “quiet luxury,” the understated but aspirational clothing trend epitomized by brands like The Row and Khaite. But in this colorful chevron set from Missoni, Richie proves that “quiet luxury” can also get loud on occasion.
Paparazzi caught Richie in her ’70s-inspired “loudfit” as she left (where else?) Nobu on July 30 in Malibu, California. The two-piece outfit, in Missoni’s signature knit, is reminiscent of an old-school leisure suit with a matching orange-and-black chevron print, loose-fitting trousers, and wide lapels on the button-up cardigan which Richie wore open over a simple black tank top. Wearing her hair up, she added a pair of pink sunglasses and gold jewels to complete the look.

You can get a better look at the whole outfit on Richie’s Instagram, where she posted the complete look with only a pink bow emoji for a caption. In her post you can also see her small wicker handbag and sandals from The Row, per W Magazine.
Quiet luxury, also known as stealth wealth, is clearly not going anywhere. Even Kylie Jenner, who’s wealth is about as conspicuous as it’s possible to be, has been experimenting with some quiet-luxury looks.
But even in her loudest looks, no one comes close to Sofia Richie when it comes to low-key luxury fashion.
