If Kate Middleton is wearing pants, you’d better believe she has a tailored blazer to go with them, no matter the season. The light linen jacket she wore on July 14 proves that the princess can make this look work even in the dead of summer.
Accompanied by Prince William and their three children, the Princess of Wales visited the RAF Fairford air station wearing a pair of navy blue trousers, a simple white top, and an oatmeal-colored pinstriped blazer from the brand Blaze Milano. The double-breasted jacket is finished with semicircle pockets and bamboo buttons. Since Kate Middleton has not yet adopted the oversized trend, she stuck to a trim and tailored fit. For accessories, she added a small pendant necklace and gold hoops in addition to her sapphire engagement ring, and swapped her usual stilettos for a pair of pointed-toe flats (much more practical for climbing around a military air station).
Just as sharply dressed were the three kids, and the whole family was color-coordinated in white and blue. Prince George is now old enough for long pants, which he paired with a blue polo. His brother Prince Louis wore blue shorts and a white polo under a navy pullover sweater and Princess Charlotte wore a blue and white striped sundress with a matching white cardigan.
You know what they say. The family that dresses together stays together. Or something like that.
